one vocabulary, phrasal word, phonics, grammar and idiom a day

Dear all,

I have just made a studies plan to pick up / remember one vocabulary, phrasal word, grammar, phonics and idiom respectively. To make it effective, do you have a suggestion how should I start up with as I want to pick up those in common use instead of solely get a grammar book to follow through alphabetically. I understand not all of them are in common use.

Your kind information will be highly appreciated.

I don't think you should be so aggressive as to learn one vocabulary a day.

As a non-native English speaker, you should learn the language step by step.
