Hi there!

I have problems with one specific, very complex sentence...

That’s all. You know the truth
about a child, whose life has been shattered, and who has shattered them to
others, chasing something, she neither could’ve cought nor should’ve.

That sound really strange. I would be extremely grateful if someone kind helped me with it.

Thanks in advance,
Flubber

You're right, it's very strange. Was it written by a native speaker? The part with "and who has shattered them to others" doesn't make sense, and "cought" is an incorrect spelling.

No, it was written by me, actually :] I'm Polish, currently translating a bit long text. I came across that complicated sentence, I couldn't handle.

As far as the meaningless part is concerned... I wanted to write:
1) Her life has been shattered,
2) She has also shattered lifes of others.

Yes, it should be caught :)

Thanks for such a fast response!

In that case, say

'You know the truth about a child (delete comma) whose life has been shattered and who has shattered the lives of others. . . '

I can live with the repeated shattered if it appears in the original language.
