Where did you see that sentence? It's not natural for me. I'd expect "... not my thing/bag". (Note that "not my bag" is practically slang.)I just sawathe sentence “School dances are not my type.” Is “type” the wrong word to use in it? How can I tell the difference?
They're all grammatically correct but I don't really find any of them particularly natural.Are the following sentences correct?
A) Dresses are not my cup of tea.
B) Wearing dresses is not my cup of tea.
C) Dresses are not to my taste.
D) Wearing dresses is not to my taste.
