When we refer to an organization or association, should we use 'non-profit' or 'nonprofit'.

Which is the correct one, as I see both being used.

The one without the hyphen is correct. It is not a compound adjective.
 
Ah, so it does look like it's 'nonprofit' in US English and 'non-profit' in UK English? :lol:
