Hi everyone! What does "non-flipping" mean here?

Cirque du Soleil is an international travelling circus, particularly known for its acrobats. Those are the people who "flip". However, some of the circus members are singers, musicians, clowns, jugglers etc. Those people have a "non-flipping role" (they are not acrobats).
