How to paraphrase this sentence?
In many tropical countries, green is associated with danger and has negative connotations.

In some places, people don't like the color green.

Could I paraphrase it like this:
In many countries which is near the equator, green has the connotation of
danger and negativeness.

Is it the color green, or the green movement?

In many countries near the equator, the color green has the connotation of
danger and negativity.

I don't see an advantage of using "countries near the equator" instead of "tropical countries."
