No, you needn't.

-Need I go to school today?
Yes, you must.

We can answer the questions like them ,but I want to ask whether we can answer in the way I wrote below or not.

-Must I go to school today?
No, you musn't

-Need I go to school today?
Yes, you need.

-Must I go to school today?...No, you musn't...Possible, but only with the unlikely sense of "No, you are not permitted to go".

-Need I go to school today?...Yes, you need....No.
