No. "To say" in the simple past is "said" in every person. It's only in the present tense that the third person singular has an added "s".

Ok, thanks. But, is "saids" a word or should I use "says" instead if it's in present tense?

The third person singular of "to say" is "says". Saids is not a word.

Sweet, thank you. Another question, which sentence is accurate:

The first ray of sunlight illuminated the cavern as I opened my eyes, and rubbed them from the morning dew.

or this one:

The first ray of sunlight illuminated the cavern as I opened my eyes and rubbed them from the morning dew. (without any commas)

You've already (correctly) posted this as a separate thread. Please wait for answers on that thread.
