[Application] Need help with my application

I am applying for graduate research and I would like to receive grammatical feedback on the following paragraph:

In the past two years, I have already been introduced to program X during my master thesis and an internship, which I both performed at company X. Today I am applying to perform graduate research in program X.

In the past two years, I have [STRIKE]already[/STRIKE] been introduced to program X during my master thesis and I worked as an intern, both at Company X. Today I am applying to do graduate research in program X.

Now it's perfect.
