How can a graduated doctor of medicine talk about his the title of his thesis?

Is this okay?

My doctoral thesis, done under the supervision of Dr Burk, was titled "The Enzymes In Digestive Aids".

My doctoral thesis, [STRIKE]done under the supervision of[/STRIKE] supervised by Dr Burk, was titled "The Enzymes In Digestive Aids".
Try that.
 
That should be "Doctor of Medicine". If the quote is aimed at American English, it should say "Dr. Burk".
 
I think "digestive aids" is fine. There are products on the market designed to aid one's digestion, and they're called "Digestive Enzymes".
