Hello.

Are the following sentences grammatically correct?

"My son hadn't spent a week of his trip, when there was an accident and the ship, which was old and had been refurbished, broke in the half. The ship sank and I could never find my son again. I traveled more times than I can remember to the site and spent all the money I had. I could not even give him a funeral like the people because I didn't find his body. After that I decided to live in the street like a hobo."

Thanks.
