Hi,

My honourable chief guest, respected president, principal, teachers, parents and my school fellows

Is the use of "My" in the above sentence correct or should I replace it with "The"?

[STRIKE]My/The[/STRIKE] 'Honourable chief guest ... and my school fellows.'

Who is the "chief guest"? Why don't you address him/her by name?
