My home grill that is installed on stairs has gap in between it.

Please check my sentence.

What do you mean by home grill?

... and it's surely a fire/safety hazard if it's on the stairs, isn't it?

Right – we get it now. It's more commonly spelt grille in this part of the world.

Why didn't you write 'My stairs grill' instead of the wordier and incorrect 'My home grill that is installed on stairs'? though I for one would still have needed to see a picture to know what you were talking about.

We still need something after 'between'.

Surely, it would have gaps or holes in it, wouldn't it?

My stair grille has gap between every steel bar.

My stair grille has gap between every steel bar.
Well, why would you ever need to say that? If it didn't, it would not be a grille, but a continuous sheet of metal.

If it is the steel grille below the staircase handrail, it is called a balustrade.

Are you talking about this?

Or are you talking about this?

And my stairs aren't flat. ;-)

Look here for the terminology for all the different parts of a balustrade.
