Both the final and midterm exams are multiple choice and multiple select.

what is the difference between those bold parts? I though both were the same.

We both know what a multiple choice question is. I am fairly sure that multiple select (or multiple selection) does not apply here.

I googled and found this:

"Multi-select (M-S) questions require respondents to identify one or more correct answers in a list of possible answers. Unlike multiple choice (MC) questions, multi-select questions enable you to choose a grading format and allow users to select more than one answer".

If you don't understand any part of that, post below.

Two things. One, it seems awfully complicated. Two, it would have been nice if they could have given some examples of multi-select questions, but no.

Imagine a question after reading a selection. "Select all of the statements that are true"
