"Morning glow is long past due" is a line from/in the lyrics of/to the song "Morning Glow" by Michael Jackson. Everything I find when I google the expression "past due" refers to payments, schedule, etc..., but I think in the sentence I posted it means something like "awaited anxiously". Is that right?
