I might argue that the pair of sentences 1 and 2 and the pair of sentences 3 and 5 differ on a semantic level. The question expressed by the first pair is of similarity whereas the question expressed by the second pair is of difference.

Mind you, that is not to say that both pairs necessarily lead to different answers.
