Does this long sentence sound OK in English? Do you find it easy to get the point?
"If one strives at a quick solution of the problems worked on without first getting rid of the emotional tension and without first understanding the problem, it is most likely that the solution arrived at is not a good one."

***NOT A TEACHER***I think you want the posters to give you their honest opinions; so, here's my humble thoughts: (1) I think your sentence is grammatically fine, (2) I personally do not think it sounds "OK," (3) I sincerely feel that it does not get to the point, and (4) I respectfully suggest that you rework the sentence. In order to get to the point, perhaps you should consider stating your conclusion first. Something like: Good solutions are unlikely without a firm understanding of the problem and the elimination of any irrational emotions.

Thank you very much! You were most helpful!!!

I'd make the changes in blue.

Additionally, you have "problems" in the first part but the singular "problem" in the latter part.

I like Parser's rewrite with the conclusion first.
