1. I have long been waiting for the new movie.
2. I have been waiting long for the new movie.

Are the above the same?

They are, but they're unnatural.

I've been waiting a long time for the new movie.

Can I say "I have been waiting a long time" if I delete "for the new movie"? Do I need to add "for" before "a long time"? Or it's optional?
