Could you please check my below letter?
Subject: Delays on Project ID and Permit Receiver Training
We really appreciate your support in the ongoing Pre-Mobilization process. However we observed many delays from Samsung Inter departmentals on each stage of ID formalities. We also encountered some delays due to lack of communication from your end. We would like to record the list of delays happened during last one month.
1.Project ID:
Usually we have to wait for 6 working days to get the safety orientation results and other signing formalities. Most of the time Samsung representatives were not available. We have changed workmen's identity card profession to their actual job profession as per Samsung requirements. Our HR has been submitted all relevant documents for 18 people on 21[SUP]st[/SUP] Apr 2015 at Samsung ID section, but they informed that photo-session would be possible only on 3[SUP]rd [/SUP]May 2015. Two weeks from the date of submission for a photo-session is totally not acceptable.
2. Permit receiver training:
We had submitted our request for training on 10[SUP]th[/SUP] April 2015. We received 1[SUP]st[/SUP] Schedule on 19[SUP]th[/SUP] April 2015, 7:00am at the specified interview venue. Our permit receivers were presented on time but ridiculously we heard from your end at the last moment that training has been changed to out side of Samsung Plant. And we were informed by you the same would be re-scheduled on next week.
We received 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] schedule on 26[SUP]th[/SUP] April 2015 but the same story repeated due to lack of email communication from your end. However, our permit receivers approached Tata Training Centre at 9:45am but the Samsung trainer rejected our request. The interview venue specified on 1[SUP]st[/SUP] Schedule was either a small typo or a mistake on your email, but which affects us severely. If you were informed us “Permit receiver training would be outside Samsung” instead of “ the training location has been changed” we could have avoided the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] time the same mistake. Since you are not iadmitted to us your mistakes on the email for the interview venue in the [SUP]st[/SUP] Schedule, we assume that 2nd schedule also would be on the same venue.
But we are not aware training location until 26[SUP]th[/SUP] April 2015 and no mail has been communicated from your end.
Finally, we also came to know that Samsung usually conducts ‘Permit Receiver Training' at Tata.
3. Workman trade test:
We have changed workman ‘Current ID profession to ‘Actual job designation’ as per SADAF requirements for trade test.However delays were observed due to reluctant acts from relevant representatives. We had requested workman trade test 3 times but so far only one trade test conducted.
4. Mobilization of office resources:
We have requested personally at your office for crane arrangement from Samsung inside premises but nothing has arranged so far. We are not able to bring our own crane due to drivers Identity cards.This halted our further mobilization process.
We have also taken necessary corrective measures from our side. Since you are the Focal Point, we are not able to emphasize Samsung and your construction representatives for the above issues. We observed 4 weeks delay due to ongoing slow ID process.
Kindly record these delays as it affects our project schedule harshly.We will also submit cost impact of our standby manpower soon. We need your kind intervention with concerned department to speed up ID process and Permit receiver training as both are most critical activities.
