Letter to call judge for technical paper presentation even

(kindly check the following letter. and revert me chages required so it will be more professional)

Subject: Please join us for a special event
Dear sir,
We ABC college is organizing a xyz paper presentation contest, for all the students from our state. We would like to invite you to join our event. We like to call u as one of our judges. Judging will involve following responsibilities:
-following each presentation, judges must score each speaker on the Official Scoring Sheet, retaining copies of all sheets until the session is completed.
- ask questions of contestants.
- announce the final winner

How about:

We at ABC College are organizing an xyz paper presentation contest for all the students from our state. We would like you to join our event. We would like you to be one of our judges.

The rest looks OK.

I think "even" was supposed to be "event". Don't use "u" for "you". As Tarheel said, you need an "at" after "we" at the beginning.
 
I don't think this one is coming back.
