Kim won't do the homework _____.
(A) tomorrow (B) yesterday (C) now (D) two days ago
[a test question designed by a Taiwanese teacher]
The answer is option A. Is option C also acceptable?

I'm not a native speaker of English, but something tells me that in a certain context Option C would work here too.

You are welcome to respond if you are sure of your answer. However, if you are not sure, it would be better to wait for a native speaker or teacher.

In fact, C makes more sense than A. C (now) is about the person's present state of mind. The other one (A) is in the nature of a prediction.

Precisely. That's why we can't say that one makes more sense than the other.

Both A and C are possible. The sentence would be much more natural with "her/his/their homework" than with "the homework".
