Hi everybody,

I'm reading The Lost World of Conan Doyle author. However, when I reach to a sentence: " " I will go, Mr. Chairman." I kept repeating over and over again.", I have noticed that repeating is going with again in this sentence. So far I know, again shouldn't go with repeat when both of them are in the sentence and show a frequent meaning.

Please, can anybody clarify this to show me is it true or not in this sentence? Thanks very much.

There's some redundancy in the sentence- kept repeating would be enough, but over and over again emphasises how many times it was repeated. It may be unnecessary, but there's nothing wrong with it for me.
