Hello

I want to make an investment in a company as a shareholder, but before doing this we have to do some researching work.

Can I say
1. We have to judge this investment opportunity.
2. We have to make an judgement for this investment opportunity.
3. We have to assess this investment opportunity.
4. We have to make an assessment for this investment opportunity.

Can anybody tell me which one sounds more natural?

Thank you very much!

As you know, sum41111, every sentence must begin with a capital letter and end with a punctuation mark.:)

Please use Edit Post to put your sentences right.

Sorry for that. I correct them.

In #2, you've used the wrong article and the wrong preposition. Write "an" only before a word that begins with a vowel sound; write "make a judgment of this investment opportunity".

You need "an assessment of" in #4.

I don't think #1 sounds all that natural. I would prefer something like "evaluate" instead of "judge"; #2 and #4 are no good, but #3 can work.
