Hello

Are the following sentences grammatically correct?

"Jennifer walks anxiously, practicing her lines. She waits for Matt to begin practicing for the new theatrical play."

Thanks.

The second sentence sounds unnatural, and the word "theatrical" is redundant.

"Practicing [your lines and moves]" for a play/TV show/film is usually called "rehearsing".

Jennifer walks anxiously, practising her lines. She waits for Matt to arrive so they can start rehearsing the play.

I would use the present continuous in both sentences ("Jennifer is walking"; "She is waiting") but I have left your original for now.
