Is this okay?

Jane opened her eyes in the blackness of the bedroom. She reached for her cellphone as Arthur snored faintly. The phone's clock showed 4:45. Arthur had woken up, running his hands along her body. She experienced an unfamiliar recoil, as if Arthur was an stranger. Much as she hated to admit to herself, Patrick was now in her head. Her dashing charming had found his way into her affections to the point where her husband's touch would make her stomach churn in an anxious disgust.

If he's snoring, he hasn't woken up.

If he's snoring, he hasn't woken up.

He wakes up after she reaches for her phone. Is this better?
