Good evening teachers! Would you mind checking to see if both of them are correct in grammatical aspect? Maybe they are in wrong order of adjectives. Thanks in advance.

1) James is the most annoying and the laziest person in the whole office.
2) James is the laziest and the most annoying person in the whole office.

I'd say it like this:

James is both the laziest and most annoying person in the office.

You're saying two quite different things about him. You can emphasise the fact that he qualifies for both categories by using both ... and ...

(I don't see an especially good reason to say the whole office, but it's natural enough.)

Are these sentences correct ,too?

1) James is both the most annoying and laziest person in the office. ("annoying" comes first)
2) James is both the most annoying and the laziest person in the office. (two articles "the")

2 is OK, but I prefer Jutfrank's sequence to the one you have in #1.

All the formulations so far are grammatical, but some are better than others. In my opinion, the best is the one I suggested in post #2.

I like this for simplicity: James is the laziest, most annoying person in the office.

Laziest works better first for me.
