This post has too many questions, but I will point out that you should write an hour. The H is silent.
 
I think f, h and j are not correct for the same reason as b and c.

But I think (f), (h) and (j) are correct.

'I've written a letter for an hour.' is almost equal to 'I've been writing a letter for an hour.'
'I've written six letters for an hour.'
is almost equal to 'I've been writing six letters for an hour.'
'I've read this book for an hour.' is almost equal to 'I've been reading this book for an hour.'
 
The only ones I find both correct and natural are e., g., and l.
