Hi all,
It's far away from here to there.
Is my sentence correct?

It's a long way from here to there. That place is far away.

Basically, It's far from here to our location.

"Our location" is "here." That's like saying, "It's far from here to here."

I had made an earlier post with a comment on GS's fine formulation.

Where is it?

In the twilight zone.
(The smiley doesn't work properly right now.)

"Our location" needn't necessarily be the same as "our present/current location".

Certainly not if we add modifiers, e.g. "our location tomorrow/yesterday."

But I think the default meaning of "our location" is "our location now," i.e. "here."

It could be referring to "our usual location". In other words, "usual" could be implicit.

What about "It's away from there to here"?

You could write It's a long way from there to here.
