Hi there. One of my friends asked me about this sentence and if it's correct or not. I knew so I said it's wrong but I'm having trouble explaining why.

" It was nice of you to remember me to invite."

Please note my corrections above. The last four words are the problem. You can say:

It was nice of you to remember to invite me.
It was nice of you to invite me.
It was nice of you to remember me.

You can't add a to-infinitive after "remember be" in that sentence. Do you know what your friend was actually trying to express? (You could suggest to your friend that they join the forum so they can ask their own questions.)
