Is this paragraph grammatically correct.

As Umbrella Corp’s bio-organic weapons had mutated over the years, the story of this pharmaceutical corporation changed along with them, but amid these changes, all the faces and names of the iconic characters keep popping back up. The entire story starts in December 4 1996 with some pulchritudinous flowers. James Marcus and Doctor Oswald E. Spencer set out to find the ‘stairway of the sun.’ This is an east-African flower believed by the locals to confer regenerative powers. It turned out that the flower holds a virus that is capable of modifying a host DNA. With the newly dubbed ‘Progenitor Virus’ Spencer believes he can create an improved human race. All he needs is some time, research and of course, cold hard cash. And what better way to finance a biological project than by establishing a pharmaceutical company.

Cheers.
