Are the sentences below correct?
1. She was thin before, but she is fat now.
2. It rained a lot in summer before, but it seldom rains now.

They're grammatical, but don't mean much unless you make it clear what you mean by 'before' — two years ago? twenty years ago? when she was 30? in your childhood?

Are the sentences below correct?
1. She was thin before, but she is fat now. :tick:
2. It rained a lot in summer before, but it seldom rains now. OK if you mean previous summers. But if in the immediate past summer, use "the summer before".

1. She was thin before, but she is fat now.
2. It rained a lot in summer before, but it seldom rains now.
If your intended meaning is what I think it is, they would be more natural as:

1. She used to be thin, but she is fat now.
2. It used to rain a lot in summer, but it seldom rains now.

We used to have/get a lot of rain in (the) summer....
