Note my corrections above. It's a good idea to learn the construction "What does "_________" mean?" now as you're probably going to use it quite a lot on this forum. Always put quotation marks around the words or phrases you're asking us about. Don't put a space after opening quotation marks.
 
Where did you see 'It is as long as it is broad'? The standard expression is 'It's as broad as it's long'.
