I came across this sentence in one of my books and I wonder whether it is correct or not. " As I do not know much about Mayan civilisation I think you might help me by giving me information...."
I had a disagreement with a colleague of mine over the use of tenses in this sentence. Could someone tell me if this sentence is acceptable? :)
 
Yes, it is correct. all the tenses are the present.
