[Grammar] Is this sentence correct?

No, the original is correct.

"The blues" (in addition to being a type of music) means general sadness.

If you have "the blues" you feel sad. You could say you "feel blue" but you've "got the blues."

***NOT A TEACHER***Xianyu, the plural (blueS) is correct. People use the singular in a sentence such as: I'm feeling blue today. Thank you.
