Dear all,

Is there something wrong with this sentence ?

It has been argued that it is totally unfair that athletes earn much more money than professionals who succeed in other vital fields.

Many thanks

Grammatically it's fine, but it does suggest that people believe that athletes are professionals in a 'vital field'. This idea can be removed if you use 'more' instead of 'other'.

Nobody said that, it was suggested that it was a matter of opinion and might or might not have been the OP's intended meaning.
