One of my friends David's father is a lawyer.

Is the above sentence correctly phrased?

Thanks.

One of my friends David's father is a lawyer..
It is very clumsy.

Better, but still not wonderful is:

The father of David, one of my friends, is a lawyer.

what about writing it this way,
One of my friends, David's father, is a lawyer.

what about writing it this way,
One of my friends, David's father, is a lawyer.
I think with your sentence David's father becomes my friend. But David's father is not my friend, David is.:-o

thanks a lot.
