Hi,

This is a short extract from my essay:

Perhaps the realisation that irony is an extremely illusive concept contributed to changes in the direction of irony research, especially in the past fifteen years. Instead of trying to provide ascholarly definition for this figurative phenomenon, a number of brain (ERP/fMRI) investigations began to contrast irony interpretation with understanding literal speech (see, for example, Regel et al. 2011). Furthermore, the articulation of a fully-fledged definition for irony is not the primary concern of the most recent computational studies either. Reyes at al. (2013), for instance, were especially interested in detecting the most salient textual features of verbal irony. That investigation, however, does not constitute an all-inclusive explanation of irony.

Could anyone please check
this passage for grammar?

Thank you.
