Hi, I would like to know what is the difference between are and is.

Example:

My eyes are brown or My eyes is brown
My hair are brown or My hair is brown

Example:

My eyes are brown [STRIKE]or My eyes is brown[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]My hair are brown or[/STRIKE] My hair is brown

...
 
Two eyes. One "mass" of hair.
