Can I say: "My niece is (not was) named after me and now she is my namesake"?
"Is named" focuses on the present and the fact that she has the same name as you.
At present she has the same name as the OP, but at present the email has reached the recipient or is being transmitted rather than 'is sent', so 'is sent' is wrong. May I understand it this way?Then can I say 'the email is sent' to mean that 'sent' is the present state of the email?
