Hi,

Do you say:

Their voices match well together or matches well together

Thanks

Is "voices" singular or plural?

It's referring to two people
I think Dave was trying to get you to realise that, since 'voices' is plural, you'd use the form of the verb that a plural subject usually takes.

So - is the word "voices" singular or plural?

Really? You know "voices" is plural, therefore it would equate to "they". So you believe that the third person plural form of a verb ends "s" or "es"? Please conjugate the verb "to match" for us here.

'matches' is the form that would follow a third person singular noun or pronoun subject, for example, he, she, it, his voice.
