[Vocabulary] Is it 'fairly' or 'favourably'?

Does Mr Darcy say about Elizabeth "fairly tolerable" or "favourably tolerable" or something else?

I can't catch the word either. You must have a good ear to understand all that.

Here's what the novel says: "Which do you mean?" and turning round he looked for a moment at Elizabeth, till catching her eye, he withdrew his own and coldly said: "She is tolerable, but not handsome enough to tempt me;..."

It sounded like thoroughly tolerable to me, but there's plenty of scope for doubt and interpretation there.

Perfectly makes sense, but I have listened again and didn't hear it- it's still thoroughly for me.

Interesting. To begin with, I only read post #1 and didn't read anyone else's suggestions so that my ear wasn't tainted with anyone else's ideas. I played it 3 times and got "perfectly" every time.
