Dear teachers

I have another question about the RP. In the audio clip attached, is it RP according to your English native ears? I am just curious which part of the UK my friend is from.

Please kindly advise.

Regards

I would call that pretty standard southern (English) BrE. It's very close to what some might call modern RP, but a long way from th RP taken by Danil Jones as his model.

Dear 5JJ,

Thanks for your comment. Is it possible to tell me, how different is the RP in Danil Jones' model from the "modern RP" in the clip? Is Danil Jones' RP similar to the BBC accent or posh accent?

Please advise (my previous reply seems not published, so I re-post it here, sorry for any inconvenience caused.
