"I bought this car last month Now it … to me."

a. belonged

b. is belonging

c. is belonged

d. belongs

I don’t know why b) marked as the correct answer? Honestly, I chose d) because belong is a non-continuous verb. Which one is correct- b) or d), please? Period is missing after the word month in the given sentence. So, I couldn’t add a full stop over there because I didn’t create that sentence.

I agree with you. The correct answer is D.

b) is very common in Indian English. They use the present continuous much more often than in other variants. It might depend who wrote the test and who it was intended for.
