Is it right to say : I have opened internet today...?

Thank you

I understand your doubt, ratóncolorao, because I am Brazilian and you are translating the phrase in Spanish literally into English.

A better way of saying it could be:

I have connected to the Internet today, or, I have logged in the Internet today.

Thank you, Anglika.

'Connected to' is a good one. 'Logged in' should be 'logged onto'.

If you just mean you have been using the internet, then 'use' is useful:

'I used the internet today.'

Also, 'surf' collocates with internet in English:

'I surfed the internet today.'

Although, I wouldn't use the perfect tense with surf, it sounds strange.

EDIT Sorry for the double correction of 'logged in' from Anglika's post. I was replying when it was posted. :)

Thank you very much for your replies.
