Hi,

Initial consonantal sound
Important

"m" is an initial consonantal sound, not ɪ/ becuase it is vowel.

Distinctive features
It is nasal. The air comes out through the nose. If you pinch your nostrils quite firmly, you can't pronounce it.
It is bilabial. It is made using both lips.

Please tell me if my description about the initial consonantal sound is OK.
