Hi there,

I hope this thread will get enough feedback from those interested in teaching. I was wondering what form of 'technology', or 'technology-based activities' teachers use in 'speaking' lessons.

I realise all skills are integrated but I'm interested to know what specific forms of technology are used by teachers round the world, in speaking classes.

Thanks a lot in advance! :)

Do you record speaking lessons?

All classes are recorded by CCTV but there's no spacial recording of the class events. Is that used for a post-class analysis or for giving learners a post-activity feedback?

(Plus, has anybody ever devised any Skype-based activity in teaching Speaking?)

Either, and on the subject of feedback, I found that recording comments about writing goes well.

Sounds interesting. Thanks, dear Tdol!

(And I hope teachers seeing this post will kindly share the experiences they've had in their speaking lessons.)

It's also a lot easier for the teacher to give detailed information and practises another skill.
