I don't quite understand the sentence, "Don’t leave the shower running without you as it heats up," especially "without you" not making sense to me.
It's from the page (attached) of the book I'm reading. The book is "A CHILD’S INTRODUCTION TO The Environment" by Michael Driscoll & Professor Dennis Driscoll.
Is it possible the authors missed some words here?
