Hello all,

I've used both in my conversations, although I don't know which one's correct or to be used or preferred over another.

Would you help me?

Sentence:

1) Why didn't you say that in the first place?
2) Why didn't you say that to begin with?

Help,
Vinod,

Both versions are correct and equally used, vinu.
