Which are correct:

1) In the day, we work and in the night we sleep.
2) In the daytime we work and in the nighttime we sleep.
3) In the day we work and at night we sleep.
4) During the day we work and during the night we sleep.
5) During the daytime we work and during the nighttime we sleep.

I don't like the ones that have 'in the day' or 'in the night'. I don't think they are wrong though.

They're all grammatical. A more natural sentence might be "We work during the day and sleep at night".

Or "We work by day and sleep by/at night".

This works better for me, and I would use by both times.
