So she felt frustrated and therefore he had her participate in the activities such as asking for directions or finding destinations in the map. In that way, they could feel/That could make them feel they were traveling while helping each other.
Even though the trip was the first one for his sister, it could make them experience a lot in the trip. Later, they made several more trips to Japan. His sister came to enjoy overseas trips so much, so has been to almost all the famous countries in the world, except for Africa.[/FONT]

What do you mean by "she always followed his back"?

Perhaps;

She was not good at foreign languages, so she stayed close to him because she was uncomfortable by herself.

Perhaps:

He encouraged her to participate in activities such as asking for directions and finding destinations on the map.

What do you mean by "she always followed his back"?
I added "his back" just to be more specific, but "she always followed him" would be OK. It means she couldn't be a leader at the front for lack of foreign language skill.

Perhaps:

Because she couldn't speak Japanese she always stayed behind to avoid the embarassment of having to speak to somebody.

Even though the trip was the first one for his sister, it could make them experience a lot in the trip.

Perhaps:

It was her first trip to a foreign country, and she had a lot of new experiences.

As for the last sentence, perhaps:

She came to enjoy overseas trips so much that they have been to several popular tourist spots.

I definitely wouldn't say famous countries. You could say:

They have been to every inhabited continent except Africa.
